Carving out a little niche for myself here in the blogosphere suddenly appeals to me. I'm not sure why but I'm going with it.
Maybe it's because I spend 90% of my time with the ten-and-under crowd under my own roof--my own four delightful and ridiculous children.
Maybe it's because, though I enjoy my husband's company immensely, there is a finite amount of detailed information he can process about the benefits of classical education versus unschooling, or if I should have tall riding boots with buckles or definitely without, before he starts to do that eye-squint, lips puckered, head nod thing that tells me I've totally lost him. He's too nice (and too smart) to come right out and tell me he could give a monkey's, but after twelve-plus years of marriage, he's really not so subtle.
So here I am. Opening a space to talk about educational methods, laundry systems, healthy living, and anything falling outside the conversational interests of my military man and our kiddos.
